Our Mission
Amongst the emotional and physical stress of learning your child has cancer, you shouldn’t have financial stress also. Between doctor’s appointments, scheduling medicine, cancer treatments, hospital stays, ER visits, and decisions on what plan would cure your child, you shouldn’t have to also decide whether to pay your mortgage or the utility bills this month. The emotional, physical, and financial stress combined could hurt a family just trying to make the right decisions.
We know firsthand what all of these are like. We want to be one of the local foundations helping those who feel like their world has just collapsed around them. We were lucky enough to meet many people willing to help us. We know it’s hard to ask for help, especially when you feel like you failed your family. We want to carry on Danica’s caring nature. We want to be able to relieve one stress from a new world of fear.
